A vehicle for robust discussions is born

My name is Urayayi Chikwetu, I am a legal practitioner by profession based in Zimbabwe and will publish a weekly newsletter on substack by the name Weekly Good Read.The Weekly Good Read (WGR) is a forum for robust discussion on legal and political issues affecting Zimbabwe, Africa, and the entire world. The WGR is a forum for deliberative thought and discussion. It aims to educate people and elicit deliberate participation from them. Above all, at WGR we think that when people have more access to information and are better informed so they can make informed decisions, an open and democratic society is enhanced. Openness, transparency, accountability, equality, diversity, respect, and pluralism are among the ideals that we cherish and these are ingrained in the Zimbabwean Constitution as well as other progressive constitutions around the world. We consider that every voice counts and that we must constantly be on guard against the tyranny .
